The Community Fund of Darien Allocations
The Community Fund Distributes more than $700,000 The Board of Directors of The Community Fund of Darien is proud to announce the distribution of more than $700,000 to 30 agencies in Darien and our neighboring communities during 2008-2009.  These grants are the culmination of two months of work by over 50 local volunteers who reviewed applications and made site visits with agency staff and volunteers to assure that the funds are wisely and responsible spent to provide critical services to those in need.   "Everyone who gives to The Community Fund of Darien can rest assured that his contribution is going to make a positive difference for the community, " says Bob Wells, TCF President.  " We are grateful for the many generous and committed volunteers who take the personal time to do the hard work that assures the best use of our donors' dollars."
