Allegra Erickson
Allegra Erickson has been an active volunteer in Darien since moving to town with her family in 2005. She has served in leadership positions in numerous organizations, including the Darien Library, Noroton Presbyterian Church, Darien Public Schools Parent Associations, and Thriving Youth Darien.
Allegra first served as a community grant panel volunteer and leader, as well as a member of the grant committee, before joining the board of The Community Fund of Darien. Allegra has served as the chair of the grant committee during her time on the board. Recently, she co-chaired Thriving Youth Darien, a volunteer coalition convened by The Community Fund, that brings together local community organizations to promote and empower positive youth development and mental health, with the goal of reducing teen substance use.
Allegra graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor's of Engineering and Northwestern University with a Master's of Business Administration and Master's of Engineering Management.
Previously, Allegra worked as a mechanical engineer for General Motors and a management consultant for A.T. Kearney. She currently works at the Yale University School of Management in the Office of Admissions.
