Elizabeth FitzPatrick

Elizabeth FitzPatrick has been an active member of the Darien community for over 20 years. She joined The Community Fund Board in 2021 and has served on both the Community Grants and Governance Committees as well as co-chair of the Strategic Plan Committee for Programming. Prior to that, Elizabeth was involved as a Community Grants Volunteer and leader, and as the parent advisor to the Community Fund’s Freshman Community Group.

Currently, Elizabeth works at Building One Community in Stamford as a volunteer attorney providing immigrant legal services. She has served as a Noroton Presbyterian Nursery School board member, Hindley PTO co-chair, a Middlesex Middle School executive board member, and a member of the Darien High School nominations committee. She is also a member of St. Thomas More Church where she taught religious education for many years.

Elizabeth has an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law.

She has lived in Darien since 2006 with her husband, Mark, and their 3 children.
