Elizabeth FitzPatrick

Elizabeth FitzPatrick has been an active member of the Darien community for 20 years. She first joined The Community Fund of Darien several years ago as a Community Grants Volunteer, also having served as a Community Grants Leader and as the parent advisor to The Community Fund’s Freshman Community Group in 2020. She joined the Board in 2021 and serves on both the Governance and Community Grants Committees.

Currently, Elizabeth works at Building One Community in Stamford as a volunteer attorney providing immigrant legal services. She has served as a Noroton Presbyterian Nursery School board member, Hindley PTO co-chair, a Middlesex Middle School executive board member, and a member of the Darien High School nominations committee. She is also an active member of St. Thomas More Church where she taught religious education for many years.

Elizabeth has an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a law degree from Catholic University, Columbus School of Law.

She has lived in Darien since 2006 with her husband, Mark, and their 3 children
