Eric Baurmeister has over 25 years of investment management experience.  Since 1997, Eric was a portfolio manager of Emerging Markets Debt strategies at Morgan Stanley Investment Management based in New York City.  Eric was Head of the Emerging Markets Debt group for 11 years before retiring in 2022.  He now fills his time pursuing personal interests and looking for opportunities to help the local community.

 

Eric currently serves on the Darien Town Pension Board in addition to joining the TCF board in 2024.  He also serves on the board of EMpower - The Emerging Markets Foundation and was Chair of their Board for 6 years.

 

Eric received his B.A from Cornell University in 1992 with a double major in Economics and Government and is a CFA charter holder.

 

Eric has lived in Darien with his wife and 3 children since 1999.
