Melissa Williams
PRESIDENT
Melissa Williams has been an active member of the Darien community for over 20 years. During her time on The Community Fund Board, she has served as co-chair of Darien’s Human Service Planning Council—a coalition of nonprofit, governmental, and educational leaders focused on addressing local human service needs, as well as on the Audit and Finance Committees.

Melissa has held numerous board and volunteer roles within the Darien Public Schools, including at Holmes Elementary, Middlesex Middle School, Darien High School, and with the Council of Darien School Parents.
Having volunteered with many local agencies, Melissa began with The Community Fund in 2015 as a Community Grants panelist and leader. She was an adult advisor to the Youth Community Fund for five years.

Melissa is a partner in a consulting business, Silsbee Partners. Previously, she was an equity research analyst at Gerard Klauer Mattison (now BMO Capital Markets). Melissa earned a B.A. in Economics and English from the University of Notre Dame. She and her husband have lived in Darien since 2004 with their three daughters.
