Michele Gartland
Michele Gartland is a partner at Rucci Law Group in Darien, Connecticut, where she specializes in trusts and estates, helping clients with estate planning, estate settlement, and probate matters.
A dedicated supporter of The Community Fund of Darien for many years, Michele first became involved as a Community Grants Volunteer before serving as a Community Grants Panel Leader. She now serves on the Board of Directors as a member of the Community Grants Committee, having joined the Board in 2023.
Michele lived in Darien for 20 years, where she raised her two sons and developed a deep appreciation for the town's strong sense of community. She now resides in Norwalk and continues to be actively involved in the area through her service on the Darien Chamber of Commerce and as a former member of the Representative Town Meeting. In addition to her work with The Community Fund, Michele serves on the Board of Directors of Horizons at New Canaan Country School and is a member of the Darien Rotary Club.
Michele earned her B.A. in History and Asian Studies from Georgetown University and her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.
