Robin Ackerman first joined The Community Fund of Darien several years ago as a Community Investments Volunteer. She currently is on the committees for Community Fund’s Darien Road Race, Designed to Dine, sponsorship and runs the annual Volunteer Celebration.

She has lived in Darien for 20 years with her husband Bob and has served on the ABC in Darien board for 16 years and is an active member of the Darien Community Association and Greenhouse.  

 

Previously, living in New York City, Robin worked in the fashion industry for 25 years, where she was the vice president of merchandising and sales for many designer men’s apparel companies. She received a bachelor’s degree from UConn.
