Tom Dornan grew up in Fairfield, CT, where he attended Fairfield Prep and Fordham University. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2008 and is currently the Resident Director of the Merrill office in Darien.

Tom began his involvement with The Community Fund as a Community Grants Volunteer before joining the Board. He has also served as a board member of the Darien YMCA since 2024.

Tom and his wife, Jackie, live in Darien with their two children. In his free time, he enjoys golf, paddle, and skiing.
