On Sunday, September 21, over 550 runners and supporters came together to make a difference for our community at our 45th Annual Darien Road Race & Family Fun Day. A total of 375 runners, ranging in age from 0 to 83, participated in either the 1.5-mile Fun Run or the 5-mile race. More than 200 spectators joined us under the tent, cheering on the runners and enjoying family-friendly activities.
Thank you for making this event a huge success and for helping us support local nonprofit organizations funded by The Community Fund of Darien.
All proceeds from the Darien Road Race support The Community Fund of Darien's 2025-2026 Grant Pool which provides grants to over 35 local nonprofits to ensure our neighbors have access to food, housing, physical & mental healthcare, employment skills, youth programming, and emergency services.
