The Community Fund is excited to welcome you to our Designed to Dine Afternoon Tea, celebrating The Community Fund's 75th Anniversary and nearly $30 million granted since 1951, on Friday, May 1, at Woodway Country Club.

​

Please arrive at 1:00 PM for check-in and to begin enjoying the afternoon. Guests will have the opportunity to explore 30+ designer tablescapes, enjoy curated afternoon tea bites, and raise a complimentary glass of bubbly to Designed to Dine. Throughout the event, guests may also browse more than 15 exclusive Afternoon Tea prize draw packages and hear from special guest speaker Cece Bowman, founder of Cece Bowman Interiors and former designer for Kemble Interiors. As you leave, please rememeber to pick up your special gift from Tuckernuck.

Please pre-purchase your Afternoon Tea prize draw tickets in advance so you can spend less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the event.

Helpful Information

​

Parking
Woodway has mandated that we have a valet service for our event.  Please come to the front entrance of the Woodway clubhouse (located at 540 Hoyt Street, Darien) where you will be met by the valet company.  Guests are not permitted to self-park. We highly encourage people to carpool or use a car service to the event.

​

Check-In

Check-in begins at 1:00 PM. To help speed up the check-in process, complete the pre-check-in steps through your Qgiv ticket confirmation email before arriving.

​

Event Timing
The Afternoon Tea concludes at 3:00 PM. As we prepare for the Evening Celebration later that day, we kindly ask that all guests depart the venue by 3:30 PM at the latest.

Join us for an evening of cocktails, delicious strolling culinary stations, dancing to NYC's 9-piece live band Atomic Funk, and community impact — all set among an extraordinary candlelit viewing of 30+ designer tablescapes.

 

Guests will enjoy plenty of time to explore the full tablescape display, sip from a four-hour open bar, discover surprise featured activations, and celebrate The Community Fund of Darien’s 75 years of impact. Honoring Lisa Haas and her 20 years of service to The Fund.

The Community Fund is excited to welcome you to our Designed to Dine Evening Celebration, the official Community Fund 75th Anniversary Celebration, on Friday, May 1, at Woodway Country Club.

​

Please complete the pre-check-in process through your Qgiv ticket confirmation email before arriving. This step is required for the fastest and smoothest check-in experience. Completing this step in advance will help you move through check-in more quickly and spend more time enjoying the celebration!

​

Begin the evening with a candlelit viewing of 30+ extraordinary tablescapes while strolling culinary stations, bourbon and tequila tastings, and an open bar. Be sure to try our Signature 75 in honor of The Community Fund’s 75th Anniversary.​ The night honors Lisa Haas and her 20 years of service to The Community Fund.​

​

The celebration continues with Atomic Funk, desserts by Palmer’s, late-night bites, and an open bar until 10:00 PM.

Evening Celebration In-EVENT Live Auction Preview

​The Live Auction is exclusively for Evening Celebration attendees, and you must be present at the event to bid. The auction will take place live during the evening and will not be held online. This is simply a preview of the exciting packages that will be available for bidding at the event.
